Follow Up

The small foley catheter will be removed after 7 to 14 days. In line with all other prostate cancer treatments, a PSA test will be performed at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months and then once every six months afterwards. At times repeat biopsies of the prostate are advised to ensure that all the cancer has been completely eradicated.
